Movie Main Title Design

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of my favorite movies, as it perfectly depicts the anxiety, anger, and contradiction of a relationship. There are two main elements in my design: heavy brush stroke painting and grungy, ripped billboards. These techniques visualize memories that have been erased, as well as the effect of time on our recollection of memories. Finally, color palettes are chosen to reflect the protagonist’s internal state in the movie.
